I'm finally getting round to releasing some old recorded original material from way back. First up are 4 tunes recorded with Marcus Byrne as part of a project we collaborated on back in 200?? called Trailblazers. The EP was produced by Marcus and supported by Birmingham Jazz (coordinated by Tony Dudley Evans at that time - thanks Tony). Marcus played keys on everything and Neil Bullock chipped in with some cymbal work :) too. The idea was to try and fuse a R&B/Hip Hop/Dance rhythm section with contemporary jazz harmony and improvisation. The EP should be available on spotify and the usual music streaming services this month. I'm looking forward to playing these tunes live, along with some new material later this year.
